How we choose the places in this guide
Nós Cabo Verde's selection is based on public reviews and on one rule applied to every place.
The entry rule
- Hotels and restaurants: a score of at least 4.0 on two sources, such as Google Maps, Tripadvisor or Booking.
- In "What to do", where fewer sources have reviews, one source with a score of at least 4.0 and 50 reviews is enough. Each listing shows the sources used.
- At least 50 reviews on the main source. In categories with few places the minimum drops to 20, and the listing says so.
- Reviews in the last 12 months.
- Recent reviews and no closure notice on Google Maps, with a contact, website or phone number. Beaches and monuments need no contact of their own.
- Data is reviewed every 6 months, and each listing shows when it was checked.
We don't copy review text. Unless stated otherwise, the selection doesn't come from our own visits: we always show the source so you can check for yourself.
